Very quiet for news today. The City seems to have moved to a 3-day week. Let’s hope we don’t start getting power cuts too, and have to dig out the old candles and camping gaz stoves!

I tried something new today - sending out the email at 07:50, complete with Alun’s Snapshot, and v1 of my summary table included. On reflection, this probably makes more sense than sending out a blank article at 07:00.

If you want to add your comments from 07:00, then I suggest just bookmarking the web version of this site, where you’ll still find the placeholder article which I’ll publish the same as usual just before 07:00. I’ve been persuaded by various members that it doesn’t help them sending a blank email, so they’d prefer one with some content just before the opening bell. Logically, that makes more sense to me too.
