Good morning from the whole team - Paul, Dave, Jon, and Alun!
Profit warning day today, 3 of them, and poor Jon holds all three, poor chap. I’ve been hit by CHH too. Oh dear, tough macro is starting to take some scalps now isn’t it?

Scores on the doors …
Subscriber numbers keep going up, I’m pleased to see. We need to keep growing, as I have plans for more content! One reader complained we’re producing too much content, and he’s overwhelmed. I urged him to just look at the summary tables, which only take a minute to glance at, and see if any ideas float his boat - like the two profitable trades we flagged yesterday morning before 8am, Cohort and Bloomsbury (I hold).
The early bird catches the worm at the moment, as shares often seem to hover at the open, with Mr Market not being entirely sure if it should go up or down. Our pre-8am calls are usually right, but sometimes something odd happens, or we didn’t spot something in an announcement. Plus of course sometimes the market is just irrational, or a premium broker slips out a downgrade without us plankton being told until later.
It’s all tremendously exciting though, we absolutely love the manic 7-8am rush hour, where we have to digest, process, and spew out so much important information - all four of us here working flat-out. Enjoying it, and hopefully making some money too - what could be better?!
Here’s a graph below from Substack of subscriber numbers here since we started in Nov last year. Onwards & upwards, quite literally, let’s hope it continues! Please do spread the word to other investors, so we can keep growing, and build the community, and learn from each other. Thank you to everyone for your support, it’s greatly appreciated.
I got an email last night saying that this site is now bestseller no.52 in the finance category, globally. Exciting!
